Small homestead goats
Since early 2020, we've been raising and milking a small herd of very well-loved dairy goats.
We're on a small homestead, so we were interested in how to breed a small herd specifically for our needs. We discovered that crossing Nigerian Dwarf goats with British alpine milk goats was the perfect combination.
Our goats are friendly, healthy and hardy, and give a good quantity (1L/day on first lactation, 1.5-2L on second lactation).
Each year, our herd gets better. If you're interested in our goats, please get in touch!
This year, we have 5 goats available to great homes.
We typically sell in breeding pairs and trios in order to make sure our males have a good home. If you're looking for goats as pets, please feel free to get in touch.

Here's how we get our goats ready for milking, so they're never stressed.
Milking by hand can be calm and a wonderful part of your days.
Milking a homestead goat can be a relaxed chore. Our babies stay with their moms during the day until the are rehomed, and are only separated at night.
